Main Street Construction Update
Planned construction activities, week of 7/13: (Please note that the construction schedule is subject to change due to any of a number of factors. The contractor attempts to adhere as closely as possible to the schedule each week).
All work in Vergennes for the week of 7/13 will be completed during daytime work hours, typically 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
Crews will be completing some culvert work on Route 22A south of the bridge on Monday, 7/13. Please expect a one-way alternating traffic pattern with flaggers. Delays may occur.
Crews will prep sidewalk areas in various locations throughout the project and pour concrete in prepped areas throughout the week next week.
Crews will back fill and topsoil the areas where new sidewalk has been poured. This work will continue all week.
Sidewalk work will continue on Main Street at the intersections with Green Street and Monkton Road, where pedestrian 'bulb-outs' are being installed. Work in these locations is scheduled to be completed by the end of next week, weather permitting.
