Main Street Resurfacing Update
GREEN STREET:
Crews will work on sidewalk ramps and adjusting structures on Monday and Tuesday next week.
Driveway preparation is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
Paving of the final course of asphalt is scheduled for Thursday.
All work on Green Street is day time work.
22A PAVING:
Paving shim on the north end of the project will continue tomorrow. Once shim has been completed on the northern end of the project paving operations will mobilize to the southern end of the project. Motorists should expect delays and add extra time to their travel plans.
Paving in the downtown/business area is scheduled to take place Sunday night, 6/14. Parking restrictions will begin to be put into place Sunday midday, starting on the southbound lane (west) side of the street. Parking restrictions in residential and business locations will not be put into place until approximately 8:00 PM.
Paving operations are dependent on weather and surface conditions and inclement weather can alter the paving schedule.
