Sales Tax Reallocation Grant Award
The City of Vergennes was recently awarded a Sales Tax Reallocation grant! The grant is for $181,030 for infrastructure within and surrounding the City Green Park. It includes:
- Resurfacing of the streets surrounding the park (Park, North, and N Green Street);
- New light fixtures in the park;
- Replacement of all sidewalks in the park; and
- Installation of a new sidewalk on the North Street end of the park.
Since this grant comes from sales taxes, it comes at NO cost to the City. Congratulations Vergennes! We look forward to a reinvigorated City Green!
